Spring has a way of refreshing our souls after the cold and dark of winter begins to lift, even in Southern California! This issue of Next-Wave has an artistic, and to my way of thinking, a refreshing bent to it. This will probably sound trite, but with the celebration of the resurrection just around the corner, God's artistry is worth contemplating...

Cathy Townley's musings on Art and Worship in the 21st Century certainly set the tone. Then David Hopkins' and Melissa Cassidy's photo essay on Christian body art, Marked by God, continues the theme.

Jeffrey Quinn submits his photo essay on Christianity in post-modern times entitled "No Limits". Len Hjalmarson continues his fine contributions to our pages with his article on building relationships in small groups.

Andrew Careaga examines the digital medium as an expression of Holy Scripture in Holy Hypertext! Jacob Birch looks at the discrepancy between Canadian church's podiums and their pulpits as exposed in Dr. Leonard Sweet's books SoulTsunami and Aquachurch.
