Publisher's notes --- Dec 1999
It is the season when we remember the coming of God to rescue us with the birth of Jesus. For many, the holiday is a joyous occasion, and for some, not so joyous. Remember Minerva...is a Christmas parable written to cause reflection on the true meaning of the season.

Three new contributors have graced our pages for this month's issue. Eric Stanford, e-lancer from Colorado Springs, reports on the new wave of Gen-X churches. He has joined our ranks of contributing editors. Andrew Careaga, e-evangelist and author, writes on the cutting edge of church life, the cyberchurch. Dann Pantoja, CEO of Waves Church (see last month's profile) writes on the paradox of postmodern leadership.

David Hopkins, contributing editor,  examines the influence of Francis Schaeffer, the last modern theologian (and the reason he wears a goatee!). A book spotlight highlights software evangelist Guy Kawasaki's latest offering, Rules for Revolutionaries.

We continue to spotlight the works of Leonard Sweet, author of Soul Tsunami and Aquachurch. For more on Dr. Sweet, check out our "Sweet" web page.

We have been experimenting with a discussion forum. We are interested in your feedback. How can we improve the forum? What topics would be most helpful to you? Click here to join the discussion.
