As I watched the television reports this morning, as I explained to my students what happened, as I listened to the radio, as I sit here now in front of my lap top, I realize words fail to describe the reality of our fallen world. Did America, while living out its golden life, forget the Fall? While lamenting a "sagging economy," did we forget the sad state of our souls?
This week I will hear a lot of words-- most from news reporters and a few talkshow DJs. But this image I've posted on Monkhouse stands at the forefront of my mind...
God is good and He is faithful. This tragedy is physical reminder of a spiritual reality we deal with daily. We cannot make it without Jesus.
