After reading Bill Scudder attack on Catholic Charismatics, I was once again sadden by Fundamentalists lack of knowledge. I wish they would leave the Roman Road and really dive into the gospels and Jesus Christ's Road. If they spent as much time in love of neighbor and really, really, trying to understand Roman Catholics then they do on attacking us they would be better Christians. So so many errors written in that testimony. My comments is just please read and really investigate before you take one man's word. We are the oldest church and we will always be under attack by Christians who feel threaten by us instead of embracing us. To sum it up it about love of Christ and love of others. You don't have those two and truely show love of others you don't have the gospel. Catholic believe we are saved by grace not by works. Our Catechism say "since the initiative belongs to God in the order of grace, no one can merit the initial grace of forgiveness and justification"(CCC 2010) The Roman Catholic Church is a GEM to be cherished and awed. Christ left us a wonderful Church, but we will never be perfect and we will always look for guidance because we are a church of sinners and great wonderful men and women. Christ called the sinners. It is people like you who make wonderful Christian Catholics feel uncomfortable about what they believe and you are so far from the truth. I will pray for your eyes to be home to the Lord wonderful blessing of the Roman Catholic Church. For some really great reading try Scott Hahn, David Currie, Marcus Grodi wonderful converts who have reconciled back with the church. Peace
