Publisher's notes --- January 2001 With this issue, Next-Wave marks the beginning of its third year of publication. Meeting with Rogier Bos, Next-Wave founding editor, I realized how much he imprinted the Next-Wave vision. My idea was to start a web-only magazine that would talk about ministry to the next generation and new methods of doing church. Rogier elaborated on the idea by making postmodern culture, and the Christian ministry response the theme of Next-Wave. We are both proud of the fact that Next-Wave contains some of the best and most intriguing content on this subject. This month's issue is no exception. Andrew Careaga's article on Cyber-spirituality and Dann Pantoja's New Year's prayer offer a challenge for the new year. Bill Carroll writes on experiential worship and Tom Gray discusses worship and church growth. Brett Dewey explores the theological basis for Evangelism. Brenda Seefeldt's article on Beyond Summer Camp Ministry challenges youth ministers to push the edges. Eric Stanford reviews In Search of Authentic Faith. Stephen Shields offers a link to an extensive outline and review of The Leadership Challenge. Once again, I am pleasantly surprised and grateful for the continued contributions of so many to the pages of Next-Wave. Articles from new authors are offered every month.
