Schindler's regret...[read the article]
David, Your article was beautifully written even though the subject was difficult. You posed some amazing questions about the death penalty and how we react to murder. God has given you such an amazing gift of communication and understanding, and this article shines with evidence of God's love and forgiving nature. Thank you for all that you do in people's lives.

Sex and the postmodern man and woman
[read the article]

Your article regarding sex and the postmodern man/woman was a good article. Very factual and honest (I like that). However, I didn't feel it really gave God's word to sex in this era, or gave the solution. Maybe the point of the magazine isn't to give a solution, but just to raise questions, but if it's to offer any help or solutions, this article could have used a few more paragraphs.

I really appreciated the honesty of the writer and the stories.

I can identify with single people's challenges in battling with impure thoughts and temptations while pressing forward in their Christian lives today. It's a daily struggle to ward off not only unwanted sexual thoughts that war against the flesh and the mind, it takes determination and great zeal to cling on to Jesus and stand firm against the devil's plots to trap one in an unhealthy situation or relationship.

Living in a bible-contradicting worldly environment of the 90's with so many distractions around us, youths are in need of more of God's presence and anointing to keep away from falling short of God's expectations of a divine and pure heart/life. I know He understands cause I’m very frank about my weaknesses in these areas, I need direction daily and it helps to be honest with God about our lustful feelings and thoughts. I find that when I admit I have such feelings to Him and tell Him I'm weak and ask Him to help me overcome, He's a real gentleman to show me a way out...There's no other better person than Jesus to seek clear guidance from in this particular gray-area ....cause discussing about stuff like this could be embarrassing or a taboo in a particular society.

As long as we keep our minds and bodies occupied with healthy work and get involved in some ministerial activities, we are able to keep away from unhealthy, lonely feelings that can trigger unwanted thoughts and lustful desires that we entertain in hope to fill the emptiness in our souls...I strengthen myself each day by confessing that only Jesus and no other activity or thing or person can satisfy my soul's longing for love or it's emptiness in times of solidarity. I confess aloud to Jesus that I love Him more than anything else and I always find the Holy Spirit ministering to me at that instant...Sex is just the devil's counterfeit and can only temporarily satisfy the flesh...It doesn’t bring any fulfillment to the soul before marriage cause when you are a Christian and serving the Lord, and you fall into such tempting fantasies of the devil, your soul will not be at rest cause your conscience will kill you when you pray or serve genuinely the next time around...We cannot walk with God while we run with the devil...This is in fact true if we are indeed His sheep.
