Current Issue --- September 2000

Next-Wave is a monthly web magazine for Christians from all walks of life, including Pastors, Church Planters, and Leaders. The purpose of Next-Wave is to discuss the nature of ministry, faith and leadership in the 21st century with Christians from many nations and denominations. Next-Wave is free. We depend on you to contribute your views, experiences, insights, stories, questions and answers. To respond to anything you read here, or contribute an article, please write to response@next-wave.org or use the feedback form here. All of the views expressed in Next-Wave are protected by copyright. Usage is only permitted by permission of the author or Next-Wave staff.

Publisher's notes --- September 2000 Next-Wave remains an outlet for those interested in the changing terrain that the postmodern culture shift offers to Christians in this new millennium. As a result, we continue to receive submissions from many sources.

The recent "Survivor" phenomenon offers fodder for Professor Steven Ibbotson. Musician and author, Thomas Hohstadt explores the question, "What makes music Christian?"

Regular contributor, Dan Revill comments on the dilemma that his fascination with film causes. Travis Reed of HighWay Communications explains how his company is using digital methods to communicate the gospel. Potter, Tom Gray comments on what it means to be salt and light.

Rev. Jake Birch review "Spiritual Junk Food" and Kim Gentes reviews the CD: "Big Big God."

Next month I travel to Cincinatti to attend an "Off-the-map Evangelism Conference." (see info in last month's issue.)

Blessings,
